Buying information

Choose a tiramisu glass container by size

Start with the finished dessert and the way you serve it. This range has five oval glass dishes. The capacities run from 0.8 L to 4 L. Each card lists the outside size, dish weight and SKU. Use those figures to shortlist a model, then check a sample with your recipe before you place a bulk order.

Capacity is a guide to volume. It is not the weight of tiramisu you can put in the dish or a fixed number of servings. The amount you fill depends on the layers, topping and space left at the rim. Test the portion you sell. This is the clearest way to check fit and plan how many dishes you need.

Compare the five oval glass baking dishes

The 0.8 L model, OGBD-08L, measures 20.5 × 13.7 × 4.8 cm and weighs 0.42 kg. The 1.5 L model, OGBD-15L, measures 25.6 × 18 × 6 cm and weighs 0.75 kg. Compare these first when you need a smaller footprint. Check the outside size against your shelf, tray or outer pack.

The 2.4 L model, OGBD-24L, measures 30.3 × 21 × 6.6 cm and weighs 1 kg. The 3 L model, OGBD-3L, measures 35 × 24 × 6.6 cm and weighs 1.25 kg. They have the same listed height but different widths and lengths. Choose by your finished dessert and available space, not by volume alone.

The 4 L model, OGBD-4L, measures 39.2 × 27.4 × 6.8 cm and weighs 1.83 kg. It has the largest footprint in this range. Check that it fits your storage and serving setup. Allow for the weight of the dish and dessert together when planning handling and delivery.

Check the layers and serving space

For tiramisu, test the cream and sponge layers with your actual recipe. Sponge soaked in coffee and the final cream layer need to fit within the depth you plan to use. Leave room for the topping and any cover you intend to add. Do a filled sample check rather than estimating the portion from the empty dish.

The oval shape matters when you arrange layers or cut portions. Check the usable inside base and the curved ends. Outside measurements do not show the full inside space. If your recipe uses a fixed-size base, send its dimensions with the enquiry. Ask for the internal measurements that matter to your portion.

Confirm covers and outer packing

The cards show the glass dishes. Confirm any lid, cover, sleeve or outer box separately before you order. A matching cover should not be assumed from the dish capacity. Send the SKU and explain whether the dish will be used for table service, a display or a packed dessert order.

For takeaway or shipping, test the filled dish with its proposed outer pack. Check the fit, handling space and protection between pieces. Ask how the dishes are packed per carton and whether dividers or other protection are included. Confirm carton dimensions and gross weight before estimating freight. The dish weight on the card is not the packed shipping weight.

Check the intended use with the sample

The listed temperature range is −20°C to 200°C. This range alone does not confirm safe handling during sudden temperature changes. Ask for the care instructions and use limits for the exact model. Confirm the heating, cooling and cleaning steps you plan to use before you approve the sample.

For a bakery order, test the dish through your own process. Check fit on shelves and trays, room around the dish and the way staff handle the filled weight. Ask for the relevant product documents for your destination. Keep the model number and agreed use details with your order so they can be checked again when you reorder.

Plan a wholesale order

List the quantity you need for each SKU. If you need two sizes, keep them on separate lines. Ask for the current pieces per carton, minimum order and sample options for each size. These glass packing details are confirmed by quotation. Do not use the carton count from a plastic box to plan a glass order.

Tell us your delivery country and postcode. Ask the quote to show the product, packing scope and freight terms clearly. If you are comparing prices, use the same SKU, quantity and packing scope in each comparison. Confirm production and delivery timing before you place the order.

Send a clear enquiry

Include the dish SKU, quantity, destination and intended use. Add any cover, outer box or branding request. If you are still choosing a size, send the finished dessert measurements and serving plan. We can check the model details and quote the selected size. Keep the approved sample and packing notes for future orders.
